Unlimited help for animals
Animal welfare should not stop at national borders. That is why our organization, Hunderettung Europa e.V., supports animal welfare projects in Germany and Romania.
We are also planning to build an animal welfare farm near Duisburg: in addition to a meeting place and an adoption center, there will also be a large training center. As a non-profit organization, we are in urgent need of donations. Only with your help can we give dogs and cats a better life and break the vicious cycle of animal suffering in the long term.
How can you support Hunderettung Europa?
Help with a monetary donation
Animal welfare costs a lot of money. Hundreds of animals not only need to be fed, but often also require comprehensive medical treatment and warmth for the winter. In order to break the vicious cycle of animal suffering, we carry out countless neutering operations and awareness campaigns. In addition to sponsors, we urgently need sufficient donations to continue our sustainable animal welfare work.
Due to the enormous financial burden we bear as a non-profit animal welfare organization, we are dependent on every bit of help we can get. We want to give dogs and cats a better life—but we can only do so with your support. Every little bit helps!

Help through donations in kind
Our partner animal shelters need certain donations in kind at all times. That’s why we regularly launch targeted appeals for donations, e.g. when warm clothing is needed for animal caretakers in winter. You can find current appeals for donations here on our website and on our social media channels.
In addition to targeted appeals for donations, we always need certain donations in kind, including:
- Wire crates
- Food supplements and oils (e.g., vitamins, salmon oil, or joint powder)
- Medical supplies (e.g., wound spray/blue spray, sterile gloves, disinfectants, or spot-on treatments for parasites; no purely herbal remedies)
- Incontinence pads / puppy pads
- Powder-free nitrile gloves
You can find an overview of all the products we currently need on our Amazon wish list. There you can also see the exact models of the products we need. You can also purchase the items directly and have them delivered to our collection point at the address listed on Amazon.
If you would like to donate something but do not want to do so via the Amazon wish list, please send an email to info@hunderettungeuropa.de. Please let us know what you would like to donate. We will then send you the address of our collection point. We do not need donations of bed sheets, towels, and blankets for our animal shelters, as these are also donated in Romania and are available in sufficient quantities. Unfortunately, we also cannot use collars, cozy caves, transport boxes, toys, and fabric beds for dogs in the Romanian animal shelter.
Do you need a donation receipt?
If you need a donation receipt, please contact us at info@hunderettungeuropa.de. We are not authorized to forward donations directly to the tax office.
